With over a decade of experience across luxury travel and entertainment, David Haas designs travel for clients who expect a high level of discretion, access, and white-glove execution in how they move through the world.

His work is centered around understanding how his clients operate – often across multiple destinations, with shifting priorities and little margin for friction – and building travel that keeps pace with that reality. Every detail is considered in advance, allowing the experience to unfold seamlessly.

Over time, David has developed a reputation for managing complex, high-touch travel with a calm, controlled approach. Whether coordinating a single stay or a multi-destination program, his focus remains the same: anticipating needs, navigating nuance, and ensuring each element is handled with care and precision.

His work ranges from securing access that isn’t publicly available – private villas, off-market experiences, and high-profile events – to overseeing travel that requires discretion and coordination at every stage. The details are layered, but the experience always feels effortless.

Based in Manhattan, David works with a global client base and speaks both Mandarin Chinese and Spanish, allowing him to operate comfortably across cultures and markets.

Always in my carry-on luggage:

My laptop and chargers; camera and lenses; AirPods; a good book; and a pair of slippers to wear in-flight.

Most underrated destinations:

Costa Brava, Spainunderstated, authentic, and effortlessly beautiful along the Mediterranean coast.

On my bucket list:

There are still countless places calling me. Rwanda, Mongolia, Antarctica, Bhutan, Namibia, the Maldives, Iceland, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Kazakhstan, Galapagos… and many more ahead. I’ve always been drawn to destinations that feel vast, ancient, and closely tied to the natural world.

What matters most to me isn’t how many places I visit, but maintaining a lifelong devotion to exploration—seeking out culture, human connection, and the perspective that only travel can offer. Again and again, I’m reminded that the distances we imagine between one another are often far smaller than they seem.

my most memorable travel experience:

Eighteen years after spending my senior year of high school studying abroad in Chile, I returned to the country — this time traveling through Patagonia to experience Torres del Paine.

On my first morning back, I was staying at Explora, an adventure-focused lodge set within the park, known for its guided explorations that take guests deep into the landscape. I had signed up for an 18-kilometer hike, and at the trailhead, our guide mentioned that the other couple in the group was from Curicó. I shared that I had once lived there with a host family while attending school, and as we continued talking, we realized their children had gone to the same school as I had.

At that point, I said they would likely know the family I had lived with — the family of Rodrigo García.

Without hesitation, the husband replied, “I am Rodrigo García.”

In that instant, everything aligned. Nearly two decades later, in one of the most remote regions in the world, I had found myself standing with the very family I had lived with as a teenager.

We spent the day hiking together, followed by several days reconnecting — over dinners, shared stories, and time that bridged the years between us. By coincidence, we found ourselves on the same flight back to Santiago, seated just a row apart.

It’s the kind of moment that can’t be anticipated or recreated. It happens when you move through the world with enough openness for something unexpected to take shape.

We’ve remained close ever since.
