Always in my carry-on luggage:

My laptop because I’m almost always working on the go, and a good book so I can step off screens and actually relax whenever I get a quiet moment.

Most underrated destinations:

Kamakura. Just an hour from Tokyo, it has beautiful temples, coastal hikes, and a relaxed small-town vibe that’s easy to miss but perfect for a peaceful day trip.

On my bucket list:

Maldives for an overwater villa experience and pure tropical bliss. Hokkaido, Japan for its stunning national parks and nature adventures.

my most memorable travel experience:

While exploring some off-the-beaten-path spots in Japan, I stayed in a hot springs town called Shizuoka. One night, I wandered into a tiny bar and instantly hit it off with the owner! He closed the bar, took us to a local restaurant, treated us to dinner, and even drove us back to our ryokan. The next morning, he reopened the bar just to make me the best pour-over coffee I’ve ever had before we headed back to Tokyo.
