Always in my carry-on luggage:
A great book for the journey about the place I'm visiting.
Most underrated destinations:
The West of England. It's so beautiful with so much history. Paticularly Bath, Devon and Cornwall.
On my bucket list:
My bucket list includes travelling with my wife and son to vist my large family who live in amazing places such as South Africa, Australia, Israel and London. I also want to return with them to the great capitals of Europe. On my list for years has been to watch the England football team play in a World Cup and I cannot wait for June 27 to cross that off my list.
my most memorable travel experience:
Visiting family in South Africa and going to Kruger National Park, Table Mountain in Cape Town and watching cricket at Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town and The Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. Physically it is a very beautiful country however it was the 1970's and I was too young to understand the situation there.
I've been back since a number of times and revisited these places plus Johannesburg's Constitution Hill and Pretoria's Loftus Versfeld Stadium to see South Africa play England at Rugby. I now have a different perspective of this country.
