Always in my carry-on luggage:
Beyond the basics, I always pack a silk pillowcase, magnesium, and snacks - because great travel requires good sleep, steady energy, and keeping hunger from becoming a personality trait.
Most underrated destinations:
Palmetto Bluff, South Carolina - it’s truly unlike anywhere else I’ve been. Life moves at a slower, more intentional pace, and the sense of relaxation sets in the moment you arrive. Pair that with incredible food, genuinely welcoming people, impeccable service, and a wide range of experiences to enjoy, and it becomes a place that feels effortlessly restorative and memorable.
On my bucket list:
That's such a tough question as my bucket list is always growing! But if I had to narrow it down right now, a few standouts come to mind: the Dolomites, specifically a stay at the Forestis Hotel; a classic safari for the once-in-a-lifetime experience of seeing wildlife in its natural habitat; and a journey aboard the Orient Express from Rome to Sicily. They’re all wildly different, but each reflects the kind of travel that excites me most - thoughtful, immersive, and unforgettable.
my most memorable travel experience:
My most memorable travel experience was studying abroad during college. Beyond the obvious reasons, it completely opened my eyes to how big (and fascinating) the world really is. It was my first time out of the country and I fell in love with the culture, the sense of adventure, and the magic of experiencing somewhere entirely new. It was during that time that my passion for travel truly took hold. That experience ultimately set the course for my career in hospitality, where I now get to help others discover that same sense of wonder for themselves.
