My carry-on is filled with the little things that keep travel comfortable and stress-free — a good book, chapstick, moisturizer, chargers, and printed copies of key travel documents (because backup plans matter!). I also bring headphones, snacks, and a water bottle to make the journey more enjoyable. Having these essentials close by helps me stay relaxed, refreshed, and ready for wherever I’m headed.

Most underrated destinations:

The most underrated destinations are places that don’t always make the “must-see” lists but deliver incredible experiences once you’re there. I love destinations that offer beautiful scenery, great food, and a slower pace without the crowds or pressure to check off a long list of sights. Allowing time to truly unwind, connect with the culture, and enjoy meaningful moments.

For me, the best part of discovering these hidden gems is sharing them with my family and the people I love most. Travel is ultimately about time together — making memories, laughing, exploring, and simply being present — and those quieter, unexpected destinations often create the most special experiences of all.

On my bucket list:

Italy is at the top of my bucket list — I’d love to spend ample time exploring every corner of it, from small villages to vibrant cities, really immersing myself in the culture, food, history, and their everyday rhythm of life.

That said, I don’t see travel as a checklist. There truly isn’t any destination that’s off limits. I’m inspired by the idea of experiencing all the world has to offer — learning from different cultures, meeting people from all walks of life, and seeing firsthand how connected we really are. That curiosity and openness are what fuel my passion for travel.

my most memorable travel experience:

One of my most memorable travel experiences was visiting San Sebastián, Spain with my husband. What made it so special wasn’t just the beautiful setting — it was the feeling of being welcomed. The kindness of the people, the exquisite food, and the richness of the language and culture made every moment meaningful.

We spent our time wandering the cobblestone streets, savoring vibrant pintxos, and strolling along La Concha Beach — simply enjoying being present together. Experiences like that remind me what travel is truly about: connecting with a place, its people, and the moments that make travel unforgettable.
